Nagaland reports 10 new COVID-19 cases

Dimapur, Aug. 17 (EMN): Nagaland reported 10 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the state's tally to 35,883, while the death toll remained unchanged at 771 with no fatalities registered during the same period.

An update by the Health department informed that five new cases were detected in Dimapur, four in Kohima, and one in Mon, while eight patients -- three in Mon, two each in Mokokchung and Longleng, and one in Dimapur -- recuperated during the past 24 hours, pushing the total number of recoveries in the state to 33,568.

The state currently has 30 active cases, out of which 16 are asymptomatic, 12 mild, one in ICU without ventilator, and one in ICU with ventilator

In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, there are nine each in Kohima and Dimapur, three each in Wokha and Zunheboto, two in Mokokchung, and one each in Kiphire, Longleng, Mon and Phek, while the remaining districts are COVID-free.
