Dimapur, Mar. 18 (EMN): Nagaland recorded a single-day rise of one Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the tally to 35,459 while the active caseload declined to 38 following two recoveries.
The state’s cumulative recoveries also increased to 33, 179 while the death toll remained unchanged at 754 with no fresh fatalities in the last 24 hours.
According to an update from the Health department, one positive case was reported in Dimapur and two patients recovered in the same town.
Out of 38 active cases in the state, 34 are asymptomatic, two mild, one moderate on oxygen and one in ICU on ventilator.
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 23 infections, 11 in Kohima, two in Mokokchung, and one each in Kiphire and Wokha, while Longleng, Mon, Tuensang, Peren, Zunheboto and Phek are currently Covid-19 free.
