Nagaland records three fresh Covid cases; tally stands at 12079

Dimapur, Jan. 25 (EMN):
Three positive Covid-19 cases were recorded in Nagaland on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 12,079.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘Three positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Monday); Peren-2 and Tuensang-1. Also, 10 positive patients have recovered from Mokokchung-4, Dimapur-3, kohima-2 and Mon-1,’ tweeted the minister.   

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 96 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 81 are asymptomatic, 11 mild, two moderate on oxygen, and two severe on oxygen.

The state has also recorded 11,753 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 47 cases, followed by Dimapur-38, Mokokchung-8, Peren-2 and Tuensang-1, while Kiphire, Longleng, Wokha, Phek, Mon and Zunheboto have zero cases.
