Dimapur, Sept. 2 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 14 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the state's tally to 4017.
This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
"14 positive cases of Covid-19 out of 768 samples received. 7 in Dimapur, 5 in Kohima, 1 each in Mokokchung and Tuensang. Contact tracing has been activated by our IDSP team and all primary contacts are kept under self-isolation,” the minister tweeted.
According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 807 active Covid-19 cases, 3191 recoveries and eight deaths.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 392 active cases, followed by Dimapur-284, Mon-50, Zunheboto-21, Tuensang-20, Kiphire-10, Mokokchung-9, Wokha-5, Peren-3 and 1 each in Longleng and Phek.
