Nagaland records 11 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death; tally rises to 11975

Nagaland recorded 11 new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 11,975

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘11 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Saturday); Dimapur-7, and two each in Kohima and Mokokchung. Also, 25 positive patients have recovered; Kohima-14, Dimapur-7 and Mokokchung-4,’ tweeted the minister. 

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 112 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 90 are asymptomatic, 12 mild, five moderate on oxygen, one severe on oxygen and four on Critical-ICU. The state has also recorded 11639 recoveries and 84 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 64 cases, followed by Kohima-31, Mokokchung-9, Peren-5, and one each in Kiphire, Longleng and Mon, while Tuensang,  Wokha, Phek and Zunheboto have zero cases.
