Dimapur, Aug. 21 (EMN): Nagaland is likely to experience moderate rainfall in the next five days, as per the weather forecast from the India Meteorological Department, Regional Met Centre at Guwahati.
IMD stated that moderate rain is very likely to occur at many places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh in the next five days from Aug. 21 to the 25th.
It also warned that on Aug. 22 thunderstorm with lightning was very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; heavy rain was very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
On Aug. 23, heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
On Aug. 22 to the 24th scattered rainfall/thunderstorm is very likely in Dimapur and on Aug. 25 isolated rainfall/thunderstorm is likely. Fairly widespread rain/thunderstorm is very likely over Peren on Aug. 22; scattered rainfall/thunderstorm on Aug 23-24 and isolated rainfall/thunderstorm is likely on Aug.25.
Fairly widespread rain/thunderstorm is likely over Kohima from Aug.22-24 and scattered rainfall/thunderstorm on Aug.25.
In Phek, scattered rainfall/thunderstorms are likely on Aug.22 and 25; fairly widespread rain/thunderstorms on Aug.23 and 24.
Fairly widespread rain/thunderstorm is expected over Wokha district from Aug.22-24 and isolated rainfall/thunderstorm is likely on Aug. 25. Fairly widespread rain/thunderstorm is expected over Zunheboto on Aug. 22 and scattered rainfall/thunderstorm from Aug.23-25.
In Kiphire scattered rainfall/thunderstorm is expected on Aug. 22-23 and fairly widespread rain/thunderstorm on Aug.24-25. Fairly widespread rain/thunderstorm is very likely over Mokokchung from Aug.22-25.
In Longleng, fairly widespread rain/thunderstorms are very likely on Aug.22 and 24 and scattered rainfall/thunderstorms on Aug.23 and 25. In Mon and Tuensang districts, fairly widespread rainfall/thunderstorm is likely from Aug.22 to the 25th.
