DIMAPUR — The Peshu Range Students’ Union (PRSU) carried out road restoration between Peshu Village and Thonoknyu Town from July 21 to 27. The initiative was supported and financed by the district administration, Noklak, and MLA Benei M Lamthiu.
In a press statement, the PRSU mentioned that the stretch of 15 kms, which is the lifeline of the people of Thonoknyu area, was lying unattended for many years, and the restoration of the road will facilitate the smooth flow of vehicles.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]In the statement, the union also acknowledged individuals, village councils of the area, TAPO, Lamthiu, and the district administration for their support and cooperation in fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
It further appealed to the people of the Thonoknyu area to continue their cooperation in all initiatives for public welfare.
