Alemyapang Longehar chairing the meeting for work
distribution in view of the upcoming Republic Day Celebration at customary
court hall, Chiephobozou, Kohima, on Thursday.
DIMAPUR — The Deputy Commissioner of
Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has informed all government servants posted within
Mokokchung town that the celebration of the 76th Republic Day on January 26
will commence at the usual time of 8:40 am at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex,
Mokokchung.
All government employees are directed to attend the function
without fail, according to a DIPR report.
Further, all district heads of offices are also directed to
take attendance of their respective staff and submit the duly signed attendance
sheet to the in-charge at the back of the rostrum after the function.
In another order, the DC also informed the same to all
village council members, GBs' union of Ungma village, Mokokchung village,
Chuchuyimpang village, Khensa village, GBs of Mokokchung town, ward
organisation functionaries from 18 wards, and the public of Mokokchung town.
All concerned and the public of Mokokchung town are
requested to attend the function.
Coordination meeting held across the state
Meanwhile, in view of the upcoming Republic Day celebration,
coordination meetings were held across the state.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Zakabo V Rotoka,
convened a meeting at the DC conference hall, Dimapur, which was attended by
heads of various government departments, representatives of public
institutions, and other stakeholders.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding
the arrangements for the Republic Day programme, including seating arrangements,
security protocols, cultural performances, and logistical support.
The ADC emphasised the importance of inter-departmental
coordination to ensure a seamless celebration of the event, which marks the
adoption of the Indian Constitution.
The responsibilities for setting up the main venue,
decorations, sound systems, and stage arrangements were distributed among the
concerned departments. The ADC also reviewed the progress of the construction
of welcome gates and rehearsals for cultural performances and parade
contingents.
Special instructions were issued to law enforcement agencies
to maintain strict security measures during the celebrations. Furthermore,
contingency plans were discussed to address any unforeseen challenges on the
day of the event.
In Tizit, a meeting of all heads of offices, institutions,
ward chairmen, GBs, public leaders, and NGOs was held at the ADC conference
hall on Thursday.
The meeting was chaired by SDO (civil) of Tizit, Tumben P
Tsanglao. During the meeting, various tasks related to the successful and
befitting celebration of Republic Day were assigned to different departments
and institutions.

sub-divisional coordination meeting for work distribution at the customary
court hall, Chiephobozou town.
Longchar, on the occasion, requested all departments to
coordinate and give their best for the grand celebration of Republic Day. He
reminded all officers and staff to ensure their presence on the day.
