Dimapur, April 23 (EMN): Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) has announced to undertaker State-wide tour (organisational) beginning from the last week of April to May 2017. The tour will be conducted in phase-wise manner covering the whole state of Nagaland.
NPYC intended to put a message across to the people that the youth can play a vital role towards bringing positive change in reviving the present state of ‘decaying governance infested with corruption at all levels.’
Alleging that the State is facing continuous unrest in political, social, economic, religious, etc, NPYC release said the youth will initiate contact with the grass-root so as to ventilate the multi-facet grievances and issues facing the people. Also alleging corruption at its height under the present NPF-BJP DAN government, it said the future of our youth is bleak.
In this regard, NPYC urged upon the NLA Public Accounts Committee (PAC) headed by CM Chang, MLA, to exert an impartial initiatives so as to bring about much needed transparent justice in the larger interest of the general public.
“We don’t expect the legislator to grow money on trees as advised, but instead, after seeing all the irregularities and anomalies in various welfare schemes, incomplete projects and heralding of abnormal huge budget deficits, we would like to ask where the money has gone. And in whose pocket is it now,” NPYC said.
While respecting the secular fabric of the country, NPYC iterated to continue protecting our identity and existence at all cost unlike NPF-DAN which is having an unholy marriage, ‘taking unholy bath for 14 years in the State.’
It accused the NPF and BJP of toiling hard and watering the communal seed in the State, showing excellent stamina in running up to Delhi with colourful waist-coat and romantic bouquet with a dream that money will pour like water to the State so as to gratify some more to their pockets. It said the youth should not be swayed away by such corrupt thoughts and practices.
After long years of acting as habitual puppet to the centre BJP-RSS, NPYC said NPF and allies had become indistinguishable from who is who. NPYC added that by keeping their master in good humour at the centre and going to any extend of blindly abetting or act as accomplice in their governance, it has consequently and unknowingly given birth to a new form of regional-saffronisation or rather a saffronised-Christian state of BJP-RSS hidden agenda.
“Their tall claim of regional patriotism and Christian faith is submerging to manure saffron lotus to grow and bloom over them,” NPYC alleged.
It warned that voters’ long wait will be revealed with the aggressive side of ‘India Shining’ with full of religious-cultural intolerances, cow vigilantes, one nation one tax, one culture-one religion, uniform civil code, etc and towards ultimate Hindutva nation, if not realised sooner than later.
It, therefore, called upon the youth to read between the lines of the impending dangers around us and shun what is not right for us which might lead to disharmony and disintegration amongst us. NPYC assured to bring out people’s manifesto to work upon on the basis of NPCC’s ‘Roadmap.’ It further urged all youth to join hands together for a brighter future.
