Kohima: Nagaland Police taekwondo team clinched four medals (two gold and two silver) at the 2nd Open Indian International Taekwondo Championship 2023, held at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bangalore, on June 3 and 4.

Four personnel of the Nagaland Police led by ABSI Seyievilie Nakhro, DGP Sports Team Taekwondo coach, took part in the championship, an update stated.

In the men's category, Tsutanmong took the gold in the under 63 kg, while Merichan Kikon and Mongkai Phom won silver medals in under 54 kg and under 74 kg respectively.

In women's category, Antimonyu Chang clinched the gold medal in under 62 kg. The team also went on to win the Best Disciplined Team.
