DIMAPUR — Nagaland Police have reportedly busted multiple drug operations in recent times, seizing narcotic substances valued at approximately INR 15 crore.
In a press release issued on Thursday, Deputy Chief Minister for Home and Border Affairs, Y Patton, stated five individuals have been arrested in connection with these drug seizures, which were carried out over the past few days.
“The seizures and arrests send a clear message that such activities will not be tolerated in our society,” Patton stated.
Lauding the efforts of the police personnel involved, he further stated that each action taken helps protect communities and bolsters the broader goal of achieving a drug-free Nagaland under the national “Nasha Mukt Bharat” mission.
