- DIMAPUR — A
15-member team from the Nagaland Pencak Silat Association, led by president
Khevishe Sema and head coach Deep Kumar, departed Dimapur to take part in the
1st Khelo India Beach Games.
- The national-level event will be held from May 19 to the
24th at Ghoghla Beach, Diu, according to an update.
- The Khelo India Beach Games is organised by the Sports
Authority of India (SAI) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports,
Government of India.
- The participating athletes from Nagaland are Kevin, Kitenlo
K Thono, Jon, Akivito Zhimo, Altab Uddin Choudhury, Liike Kibami, Dausanliu
Rentta, Avikali V. Sheqi, Hatneinem Khongsai, Hinokali, Nyia Thono, Edwina
Lhinghoithem Hanghal, and Alice D Chishi.

- The Nagaland Pencak Silat Association expressed gratitude to
the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Kethosituo Sekhose, Director of the Department
of Youth Resources and Sports, and his staff for their support and
