Kohima, March 28 (EMN): Nagaland School Education Administrative Officers’ Association (NSEAOA) has resolved to totally object to any move in order to bring in other cadres to fill up vacancies that belong to elementary/ secondary cadres within the department.
The resolution to this effect was taken during its 14th general conference held at the Morung Hall of the Directorate of School Education, Kohima, on March 25. An update from the association stated that the members also adopted the draft constitution of the association in principle with room for additions/omissions.
The joint director School Education and NSEAOA president, Timothy Thong, delivered the presidential address.
On the occasion, the joint director (retd.) and convenor of search committee, Theyievilie Suohumvu, declared the new team of NSEAOA office bearers for the tenure 2022-25 led by Ruby Humtsoe as president and Thungchio Shitiri as general secretary. Other office bearers are Y Mughaho Zhimo and Opangkokla Aier as vice presidents, Kaitunchap Newmai as assistant general secretary, Rokozeho Sothu as treasurer, and Robert Marathon as assistant treasurer.
Chaired by the deputy mission director of Samagra Shiksha and its treasurer, Dr. Khatoli Khala, the conference commenced with a prayer said by the assistant director of School Education, Ratuovinuo Pienyü, while the SDEO of Medzhiphema, Ruby Humtsoe, delivered the vote of thanks.
