NSF sets stage for discussion on BEFR 1873
DIMAPUR — The Inner Line Regulation Commission (ILRC) of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) will hold a two-day national seminar on awareness of the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation (BEFR), 1873, at Town Hall, Dimapur, on August 28 and 29, with around 350 delegates from Nagaland and the Northeast expected to participate. According to an update, the seminar will feature senior advocates of the Supreme Court of India Prashant Bhushan and Shomona Khanna, academic experts and the Home Commissioner, Government of Nagaland, while Nagaland Chief Minister will attend and address the seminar on August 29.
NSCN (K) recovers motorcycle
The Crime Monitoring Cell of the NSCN-K (Khango-Vusshe) has recovered a blue Pulsar motorcycle, bearing registration number AS05J-1629 and chassis number MD2A11CY1HRM32073. According to an update from the Ministry of Information and Publicity of the GPRN/NSCN-K (Khango-Vusshe) on August 26, the rightful owner has been requested to present original vehicle documents and claim the motorcycle from the office within seven days from the date of publication. Vizo Conservative Dentistry inaugurated in Kohima
Additional Director (Dental) of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Reyosale Vizo, on Wednesday inaugurated Vizo Conservative Dentistry at LK Vizo Complex, Secretariat Road, Kohima, and stated that a healthy mouth is imperative for the general health of the body. ‘The mouth is the gateway to the body; thus, a healthy mouth is imperative for the general health of the body,’ Dr. Vizo said at the inauguration, which was also attended by Director of Health and Family Welfare Dr. M Margaret Yhome. According to an update, the proprietor of the dental clinic, Dr. Viketounuo Virginia Vizo, BDS, MDS (Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics), highlighted the dental facilities available at the clinic and expressed gratitude to those present for the inauguration. Rev. Fr. C M Joseph, Parish Priest of Christ the King Church, Kohima Village, blessed the proprietor and the clinic on the occasion.
