Nagaland development series to air from July 25
DIMAPUR — A special series showcasing development activities undertaken by the Nagaland government across various sectors will begin airing on Northeast Live TV Channel from July 25. The series, comprising eight episodes, has been produced to highlight the state's overall development under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, a DIPR report stated. Each episode will focus on initiatives undertaken by the government in different sectors, reflecting the scope of ongoing development efforts across the state. The episodes will be telecast weekly at 8:30 pm every Saturday, a primetime viewership slot. A repeat telecast of each episode will also be aired at 4 pm the following day, allowing viewers additional opportunity to catch the series.
Landslide-hit families receive relief
The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Zunheboto on July 22 provided emergency relief funds to five families affected by recent landslides in different parts of Zunheboto town. According to a DIPR report, the beneficiaries included Livino Yeptho of Amiphoto colony, Tsughato Sumi of Khuwaboto colony, Hevukhu of Khuwaboto colony, Ato of Khuwaboto colony, and Bokato of Khuwaboto colony. The emergency relief assistance was handed over to the family members by the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman of DDMA, Dharam Raj, at the deputy commissioner's office chamber, Zunheboto.
