SJU holds induction programme

The Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC) has extended support to Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee’s (NFHRCC) appeal to the state government to take up the Foothill Road project under North Eastern Council in the interest of the Naga public at large. Assuring full support to NFHRCC, KTC in a press release urged the state government to take up the project on priority without any further delay.
Police recovers unidentified body
Dimapur Police on Friday recovered the body of an unidentified male (37-40 years approx) lying dead outside Ram Thakur Mandir, Netaji Colony, Dimapur. Police in an update stated that on completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post mortem and identification. Claimant, relatives and friends of the deceased have been requested to contact Officer-in-Charge, East PS (Contact no.7085055020).
FGN terminates two members
The commander-in-chief, Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has terminated Major Jacob Krocha (Kohima town commander) and Captain Mulevo Khesho, for “misusing Government funds” and violating the Naga Army rules and regulations. The FGN in a termination order cautioned that any individual or groups dealing with them on behalf of the government would be doing so at their own risk.
