According to a DIPR report, despite repeated SMS alerts and press releases, the disbursement of scholarships to certain beneficiaries remains pending due to issues such as non-seeding of Aadhaar with bank accounts, inactive Aadhaar, or inactive bank accounts. The department has directed all concerned beneficiaries to complete the necessary compliance requirements by October 17, 2026. It warned that failure to comply within the stipulated deadline would result in the permanent forfeiture of the scholarship, adding that no claims for the Academic Year (AY) 2025–26 would be entertained thereafter. All affected students have been urged to take immediate necessary action to ensure compliance and avoid losing their scholarship benefits.
