PAG (AE) informs GPF subscribers
DIMAPUR — Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) has informed all the GPF subscribers of the state government that the annual GPF statements for the year 2022-23 has been uploaded on its website on June 13. The GPF subscribers are requested to log into the office website at https://nlagpf.gov.in and click on the link written ‘Click here for online GPF information system’ and proceed to subscriber login with the confidential PIN received on the GPF subscriber’s registered mobile numbers. In case of any problems, subscribers are asked to contact the assistant accounts officers namely Kh Sani on phone no. 894121704, Shem Shpunü on phone no. 9089278188 and Nitish Kumar on phone no. 8415830781 and senior accounts officer, Akum Chuba on phone no. 9436005112 during office hours. They are also asked to write email to agaenagaland@cag.gov.in or to Kahoto J Yepthomi, senior deputy accountant general at yepthomikj@cag.gov.in for any GPF related problems.

DIMAPUR — A one-day professional development training on NEP 2020 was conducted by the Centre of Excellence (COE) under Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Guwahati region, at Livingstone Foundation International (LFI), Dimapur, on June 13. An update from LFI stated that teachers from various CBSE affiliated schools in Nagaland and adjoining districts of Assam attended the training conducted by Kulmani Das, administrator of DPS Numaligarh, Assam, as the resource person.
CPA chairman convenes meeting
DIMAPUR — MLA and chairman of the Committee on Public Accounts (CPA), Mhathung Yanthan, has convened the oral evidence meeting with the departmental representatives at 11am from June 26 to the 28th. The meeting with the Finance department (Treasuries and Accounts, Revenue, Taxation) would be held on June 26, Health and Family Welfare department on June 27 and with Justice and Law, Home (NSDMA) and PWD (Housing) on June 28. The committee would take oral evidence on the audit para(s) of the government departments on the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of lndia, 2018-2019. All the AHoD and the HoD of the concerned departments are informed to be present on the specified dates to tender evidence before the committee. All the concerned committee members are also requested to attend meeting.
NSCN (IM) condoles demise of cadre
DIMAPUR — NSCN (IM) has condoled the demise of Naga army officer, 2nd Lieutenant Vilalhoulei Kets from Kizumetouma village under Angami region, who passed away on June 12 following a massive cardiac arrest. An NSCN (IM)’s statement through its MIP stated that Kets enrolled in the Naga army on October 9, 2007, and subsequently served the Naga nation with dedication, sincerity and loyalty till he breathed his last. NSCN has expressed gratitude to the bereaved family for giving their son and patriot to serve for the cause of the nation. It added that his name would recorded in the pages of the Naga history adding his dedication and sacrifice would be cherished for all time to come. It further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace of the departed soul.
GPS NMHK conducts story telling activity
DIMAPUR — Government Middle School at New Ministers’ Hill in Kohima, conducted a story telling activity under “Janbhhagidari events/ peoples participation” on June 13 on the theme “Ensuring foundation literacy and numeracy.” The event was conducted with an objective to improve the students listening and speaking skills and also provide a platform for students to express their thought and communication skills in storytelling. The programme was also organised on the theme of G20 “One earth, one family, one future.”
NHCYO felicitates students
KOHIMA — Naga Hospital Colony Youth Organisation (NHCYO) has felicitated HSLC and HSSLC 2023 successful candidates on June 12 during a programme held at its panchayat hall in Kohima. A total of 22 successful candidates were felicitated on occasion in which Dr. Avono Medoze, medical officer of Phek, exhorted the students as the resource person. Thejavor Yiese chaired the programme, while the welcome address was delivered by NHCYO vice president Kelhousatuo Yiese and an invocation prayer was said by Ropfiivinuo Semou. A song was presented by Vilekhono Chale. The presentation was led by Atuonuo Suohu and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Radhika Chettri.
