KPC mourns demise of Joint Secretary's father

DIMAPUR — The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has expressed deep sadness over the demise of Robert Khuvung, father of Nzanbemo Khuvung, Joint Secretary of KPC, who passed away at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) on Wednesday evening. In a condolence message, the club offered its heartfelt sympathy to Khuvung and his family during this difficult time of grief. "May you find strength and solace in the memories you shared together and may your beloved father rest in peace!" the message read.

IDANSB conducts dental education programme

The Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB) conducted a Continuing Oral and Dental Education (CODE) programme on the topic “Challenges in endodontic retreatment” at Hotel Europa Inn, Dimapur, on April 14. According to an update, the resource person for the programme was Dr. Mukut Seal, MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, who focused on enhancing clinicians’ understanding of complex endodontic retreatment cases. The session highlighted accurate diagnosis, proper case selection, and advanced treatment modalities. Modern aids such as rotary retreatment files, ultrasonics, magnification, and advanced irrigation protocols were also highlighted. More than 85 dentists from different parts of Nagaland and nearby towns of Assam attended this educational session.

Pilgrim Higher Secondary School to launch SIP

Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, in collaboration with NITI (NEET-JEE) Academy, Nagaland, is set to launch its School Integrated Programme (SIP) for Class 11 and 12 Science and related NEET and JEE preparations on April 18. According to an update, the programme will be attended by Minister for Higher Education and Tourism Temjen Imna Along as the chief guest. The SIP aims to provide students with a structured pathway to excel academically while preparing for medical and engineering careers.
