Geology department names RTI officials
DIMAPUR — The Department of Geology & Mining has reconstituted and designated officers to serve as the Appellate Authority (AA), Public Information Officer (PIO) and Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO) under the provisions of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005. According to a departmental notification, the officers have been designated to discharge functions under Sections 5 and 19 of the RTI Act in respect of the department. As per the notification, Commissioner & Secretary John Kevi Angami has been designated as the Appellate Authority (AA), Under Secretary Yanithung N Ngullie as the Public Information Officer (PIO), and Section Officer DopongNgaku as the Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO).
Tseminyu, Zunbeboto DPDB meetings
The Tseminyu District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), meeting will be held on July 17 at 1200 noon at the DC’s conference hall, Tseminyu. District Planning Officer &Member Secretary, Tseminyu, Lolezo Lawrence Tsukru has informed all the concerned members to attend the meeting positively. In a separate circular, Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman of DPDB Zunheboto, Dharam Raj has informed that the monthly DPDB meeting for July will be held on July 18 at 11 am at the DC’s conference hall, Zunheboto. All board members have been requested to take note of the scheduled date and attend the meeting without fail.
Zunheboto DISHA meeting postponed
The District Development Co-ordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting in Zunheboto, scheduled to be held on July 16, has been postponed. According to a corrigendum issued by Deputy Commissioner Dharam Raj, the postponement is made in partial modification of the office circular dated July 10, 2026. The notification stated that the meeting has been deferred to a later date, which will be communicated separately.
