DEO Dimapur notifies on teachers’ award

DIMAPUR — The District Education Office, Dimapur, has notified all teachers serving in both government and private schools under Dimapur district desiring to apply for district/state teachers’ award 2023 and financial assistance from National Foundation for Teachers Welfare, to collect the nomination form from DEO office, Room 1, during office hours. The last date for submission of nomination form to DEO establishment is July 18, the notification stated.

AND & DGDU general meeting on July 22

The 27th general meeting of All Nagaland Directorate & District Government Drivers Union (AND & DGDU) will be held on July 22 at Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union conference hall, PWD Junction, Kohima, at 10 am. The union requested all members to co-operate and attend the meeting positively.

NSCN (Niki) discharges member 

The ministry of Home Affairs, NSCN/GPRN (Niki) has discharged Alum Yimkhiung, Leacy, under UT-1 from the active national service on health ground. The secretary, Home Affairs, NSCN/GPRN in an order stated that the “invaluable service rendered by Alum for the cause of the Naga nation is highly applauded and shall be etched in the annals of Naga history.”

NSCN (IM) notifies on Wangcho Region

The NSCN IM) has informed that the incumbent CAO of Wangcho Region, Wanham Wangsa, has been relieved from his post with effect from June 28, 2023. The NSCN (IM) in a press release stated the decision was taken for “reason of administrative convenience as desire by the national workers of Wangcho Region, NSCN/GPRN.”

Revival programme held at DHT

As part of staff developmental programme, a revival programme was organised on July 8 and the 9th at chapel hall, District Hospital Tuensang DHT), on the theme ‘Pressing on to know the Lord’ (Hosea 6:3). Mosha Lashem, associate pastor (Youth) of Tuensang Town Baptist Lashong was the speaker of the event. He was accompanied by three counsellors from TTBL, youth from TTBL and from Christ Nagamese Baptist Church, Tuensang Town, an update stated. Doctors, nurses, staff of district hospital and student of Nursing School Tuensang, attended the two-day programme.
