DC Mokokchung informs on CMHIS
Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, Sashank Pratap Singh, has informed that a beneficiary enrollment drive for Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) will commence from October 18 to the 31st at the registration centre located at DC office. According to a DIPR report, KYC documents will be mandatorily required to enroll for general category (including employees without PIMS number, contractual, adhoc, fixed pay employees of the state and contractual employees under various CSS, with IIC and/or PRC) under the scheme. It will also require indigenous inhabitant certificate (IIC) or permanent residential certificate (PRC) issued by the district administration after 2016; valid mobile number and ration card number for ration card holders.
ENLU and ENPUD condole demise
Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): Eastern Nagaland Legislature Union (ENLU) has condoled the demise of Pongkhao Konyak, mother of CL John, advisor for Land Resources and Development who passed away at the age of 96. “The Eastern Nagaland Legislatures Union pays our sincere respect to the great soul for being so dear and loving to her people and for the precious prayers offered for the leaders of Eastern Nagaland in her lifetime,” stated a condolence message by ENLU chairman, S Pangnyu Phom. In another statement, Eastern Nagaland People's Union Dimapur (ENPUD) has condoled the demise of Pongkhao Konyak and described her as not only a mother to her family but to the entire Eastern people. ENPUD further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
FCI notifies on food stock
Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): Food Corporation of India (FCI), Regional Office, Dimapur, has informed that there is sufficient stock of rice to meet the requirement in Nagaland. To meet the needs of citizen in Nagaland, FCI stated that government of India has allocated approximately 27000 MT rice for the month of October 2022 through different schemes including NFSA, PMGKAY, and OWS. It mentioned that at present FCI Nagaland Region has the stock position of 43111 MT rice, which is enough to meet the requirements of Nagaland.
Mon DPDB meeting held
Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): The Mon District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) held its monthly meeting in the conference hall of the DC’s office on Wednesday. A DIPR report stated that deputy commissioner and vice chairman of DPDB Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, reviewed the previous DPDB agenda. The board approved the proposal for change of beneficiaries for LADP 2022-23 under 41-Tizit assembly constituency. The meeting also deliberated on the upcoming departmental tournament. The chief medical officer of Mon highlighted on the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS).
