Nagaland felicitated for DigiLocker integration
DIMAPUR — Nagaland, along with Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Karnataka, was felicitated by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for its performance on DigiLocker integration. According to a DIPR report, the felicitation took place during the national consultative workshop on "Strengthening cybersecurity framework for state data" in New Delhi on Monday. Sabou Yashu, Director of Information Technology and Communication, received the award on behalf of the Department of Information Technology and Communication, Government of Nagaland. Meanwhile, Meghna Priya received the award on behalf of the Nagaland State e-Mission Team, National e-Governance Division.
KPC mourns demise of journalist’s father
The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has expressed sadness over the demise of Bhim Bahadur Rai, father of Yommi Rai, a reporter with Hornbill TV, who passed away in the early hours of Monday after a prolonged illness. In a condolence message, KPC expressed sincere condolences to their friend and colleague, Yommi Rai, and her family and prayed that God would grant them peace, comfort, and grace to bear the loss.
DPC mourns demise of member’s brother
The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Choro Pfuzhe, brother of its member Ashikho Pfuzhe, who passed away in Delhi on May 10. According to an update, late Choro Pfuzhe was serving as a Deputy Manager at Oriental Insurance Company Limited. The DPC extended its heartfelt condolences to Ashikho Pfuzhe and the bereaved family during this difficult time. "We pray that they find strength and comfort and that the departed soul rest in peace," it stated.
DC Chümoukedima invites nominations
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, has informed all heads of offices in the district regarding nominations for the Subash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar. According to a DIPR report, the award recognises individuals, institutions, and organisations that have demonstrated exceptional contributions, dedication, and exemplary service in the field of disaster management. All departments and offices under the Chümoukedima district have been requested to identify and nominate deserving individuals or organisations for the award and submit the list of nominations for further submission to the government.
DDMA Dimapur to hold pre-monsoon meeting
The first quarterly pre-monsoon preparedness meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Dimapur will be held at the conference hall of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner in Purana Bazar on May 13. According to an official update, the meeting will commence at 1 pm. Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of DDMA Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, has requested all concerned to attend the meeting without fail.
KG Kenye convenes CEALPP meeting
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Chairperson of the Committee to Examine the Applicability of Laws Passed by Parliament (CEALPP), KG Kenye, has convened a meeting of the committee on May 18. According to a DIPR report, the meeting will be held at 11 am in the C Chongshen Committee Room of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat in Kohima. All members of the committee have been requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting without fail.
RALOA schedules meeting in Dimapur
The Railway Affected Landowners’ Association (RALOA) has convened a general meeting to deliberate on crucial matters concerning the land issue affecting the rights and interests of landowners. According to an update, the meeting will be held at the Hotel Saramati conference hall in Dimapur at 2 pm on May 13.
