ANTA Kohima to felicitate children of unit members

KOHIMA —The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) HQ Kohima has informed all unit members that it will be felicitating all the children of the members who have secured Top 20, subject toppers and 1st Div in HSLC and HSSLC 2023.In this regard, all the members have been requested to submit their ANTA ID card and registration slips along with their children’s mark sheet to the ANTA HQ Kohima office. It said mark sheets are to be submitted in the office within 15 days from the declaration of results.

Power shutdown in Mokokchung for 6 days

DIMAPUR — Power department, Mokokchung has informed that there will be shutdown of power from 8 am to 5 pm from May 1 to the 6th  due to vegetation clearance for 66 KV Mokokchung - Tuensang line.

DBSU convenes meeting on May 3

DIMAPUR — Dimapur Bengali Students' Union (DBSU) has convened a meeting on May 3 at Hotel Jal Mahal from 7 pm. It has requested all the office bearers to attend meeting without fail.

Unity College organises educational tour to NEHU

DIMAPUR —Unity College organised an educational tour to North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong for MA 4th semester, departments of Political Science and History, on April 28 and 29th. The aim of the tour was to enhance the knowledge of the students and encourage them to develop research interest through enquiry, an update from the college stated. The students also interacted with the research scholars and visited the Central library and ICSSR- NERC Library. Altogether, 42 students and three faculty members took part in the study tour.

Dimapur DPDB meeting on May 5

DIMAPUR — The DPDB meeting of Dimapur district for the month of May will be held on May 5 at 10 am in the DC conference hall. Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman, DPDB, Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal, in a circular requested all members to attend the meeting positively.
