UGC prohibits displaying Aadhaar number publicly
The University Grants Commission (UGC) in a notification has informed that “The Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Services) Act, 2016 prohibits publishing and displaying the Aadhaar number publicly. UGC has directed not to publish or display the Aadhaar number of the scholars publicly.
PWOK to celebrate silver jubilee
Pochury Women Organisation Kohima (PWOK) will be celebrating its silver jubilee under the theme, “Know your strengths” on May 5 at Ura Academy, Kohima. Minister of School Education & SCERT, Yitachu and Khriehu Liezietsü, Hon’ble Parliamentary Secretary of MTF & Lotteries will grace the occasion as chief guest and guest of honour respectively. KVC convenes general meeting
Khuzama Village Council (KVC) has convened a general meeting on May 6, 10 a.m. at Village Council Hall. All bonafide citizens of the village have been requested to attend meeting positively.
Kuhuboto Finance Committee meeting
Convenor Finance Committee, Kuhuboto has informed to all concerned that, the Finance Committee will be holding the last meeting on May 3 at the residence of Tokuho Suhoi Neho, Ato Kukau (head GB), Suhoi vvillage at 8 a.m. for finalizing income and expenditure of the 9th Gold Sumi cup held at Kuhuboto. SAYO informs members
The Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) has informed that it has set the tentative date for commemoration of its Silver Jubilee between December 7 to 14. In this regard, the organisation has appealed all its member organisations in the Southern Angami region to keep the date in mind and not coincide any of the event and programs in the tentative mentioned date. SAYO president, Neisizo Kuotsualso informed that the organising committee has been set up to plan out the commemoration, with Vitsorel Lcho as the committee convenor.
WSBAK to conduct pastors’ refreshers course
Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) will be conducting six days pastors’ refreshers course for pastors under WSBAK from May 1-6, at its Center Aküvüto, Thahekhü. Various topics concerning spiritual and human resource development will be discussed during the course. Apart from the WSBAK Center staff, Kikheto Sema IAS, Dr. Moa Imsong, Dr. Vikato Kinny, Dr. Hukato Shohe, Ashe Kiba, Kaholi Hovi, Rev. Nuklu Phom and Zheghoto Yeptho will be the resource persons. All pastors under WSBAK have been requested to attend the seminar positively. Registration for the course will begin by 1 p.m. on May 1.
Dmr Regional Transport Authority clarifies
The District Transport Officer & Secretary, Regional Transport Authority Dimapur has clarified that the fixation of taxi fare from Chumukedima to Medziphema should be read as Rs. 40/- per passenger and not Rs. 80/- as rendered.
