Ao Senden nominates new team
Ao Senden, the apex body of the Ao tribe has nominated a new team of office bearers to lead the organisations with immediate effect. This was reported through a press release by the apex body on Friday, May 26. The new team that was nominated are Imliyanger (Longsa) as president; Chubawati Longchar (Nokpu) as Vice-President; S. Temsu Aier (Mopungchuket) as Gen. Secretary; Arentemjen Jamir(Akhoya) as Asst. Gen. Secretary; and Aomeren (Moayimti) as Finance Secretary. The apex body earlier had an internal crises in 2016 and so it was led by C. Angang Jamir as Acting President and L Tally Longkumer as Acting Secretary.
33 KV Ganeshnagar-Jalukie new power line
Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Transmission Sub-Division Dimapur, Rokobeito Iralu has informed all the concerned that the completed portion of 33 KV Ganeshnagar-Jalukie new power line will be charged w.e.f. May 30. The power line will pass through Khekiho village, Hazadisa, Jalukie Zangdi, Jalukiekam, Jalukie Chessore, Beisumpuikam, Ahoi, Jalukieram, Linlen B, Sanzuiram and veterinary Colony Jalukie. General public have been informed to keep away from the line for safety.
NCSU informs members
Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) has informed all the registered members of NCSU that the new registration and renewal of identity card will be done during office hour, i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. All the bonafide members have been requested to personally obtain the same.
