Dimapur to observe World Red Cross Day
Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Dimapur unit will be observing World Red Cross Day, under the banner “Less known red cross stories” on May 8, 2 p.m. at Blind School, near SBI Circular Road, Dimapur. Deputry Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome will grace the occasion as chief guest and president of Dimapur District Citizens Forum, Joseph Lemtur as guest of honour. Submersible pump will also be inaugurated at the site on the day. All the Red Cross patrons, vice-patrons, life members, junior & youth Red Cross members and well wishers have been requested to participate.
Eronet training for Wokha BLOs
Assistant Election Officer, Wokha, Toshimongba Longchar has informed that there will be Eronet training for all BLOs under 39 & 40 A/Cs on May 8 at District Planning Machinery Hall, opposite Mhondarno Memorial Hospital at 11 a.m. and for 37 & 38 A/C at 1 p.m. All BLOs under 37, 38, 39 & 40 A/Cs have been directed to attend without fail.
SASA presidential meeting
The Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) has convened its first presidential meeting for the year 2017 on May 9, 2 p.m. at SAPO Hall, Mohonkhola, Kohima. All the unit/village president and representatives have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
