Dimapur, Aug. 25 (EMN): The central youth organisation (CYO) of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has welcomed the recently concluded Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Investment Conclave held from August 22 to the 24th in the state with the participation of Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, as the state guest.
“Such programme was first of its kind in the state initiated under the dynamic leadership of our Honorable Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IDAN, Alemtemshi Jamir. A timely venture and crucial need for the state of affairs,” stated NDPP central youth organisation.
It expressed confidence that the state would witness an immeasurable window of opportunities for the educated as well as uneducated youth both in the rural and urban areas thereby boost the economic growth of the state and also create ample opportunities for the enterprising youth. It added that the initiative would also ease the dependency on government jobs for employability in all sectors and pave way for all-round development of the state through its comprehensive outlay.
The NDPP central youth organisation further lauded the UDA government for ushering in the landmark investment opportunity, a first of its kind in the history of the state.
