Dimapur, May 17 (EMN): Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all the heads of registered institutions that the midterm examination should be conducted from June 8 to the 18th.
In a notification, NBSE informed that the midterm examinations should be conducted for the full 80 marks and not in a phase manner. This was to enable the schools to assess the learning outcomes of the students in a proper way.
NBSE also informed that the final examinations should be conducted in two phases. The first phase should be conducted in September 2022 and the second phase in December 2022 as notified earlier.
It also directed the schools to check the academic calendar and read the notifications/ circulars issued by the board from time to time. It added that schools should read the booklet on management of examinations and assessment guidelines and acquaint themselves with the rules/ guidelines for the conduct of school-based examinations.
In a separate statement, NBSE has notified all the heads of higher secondary schools/ colleges that submission of Form no. 46 (particulars of Class 12 students as of June 1) should be done district wise. This has been necessitated to ensure a smooth and systematic submission in the interest of the institutions and the office.
It informed that Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland districts should submit the form on June 13, while Mon, Tuensang, Kiphire and Noklak districts on June 14, Mokokchung, Peren, Zunheboto and Longleng districts on June 15, Shamator, Phek, and Wokha districts on June 16, and Kohima and Tseminyu districts on June 17.
All the heads of institutions are informed to collect the preprinted Form No. 46 from its office between May 23 and 27.
