Dimapur, July 18 (EMN): A seven member team of All Nagaland Amateur Muaythai Association will be participating in the 19th National Amateur Muaythai (MTI) championship (junior and sub-junior) that will be held at Sakthi Hills Resort, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru from July 19 till the 22nd according to a press statement received here on Wednesday, July 18.
The team will be participating under Meren and Botovi Achumi. The following fighters – H. Pangmei (coach), Raj Kumar (boxer), Pholih (boxer) and Kennito Chishi (referee and judge) will be representing Nagaland.
It may be noted that the gold medalist will make a direct entry to the World Muaythai Championship to be held in Bangkok from August 3 till the 11th.
