Nagaland: Mon to undertake Ayushman Bharat enrolment drive

Dimapur, July 5 (EMN): Mon district administration, in collaboration with the department of Health and Family Welfare, is scheduled to organise one-day free enrolment drive for beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) on July 12 at Mon Town Council hall from 10 am onwards.

Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Thavaseelan K, stated that eligible family could avail free health insurance upto INR 5 lakhs under the scheme. He added that PMJAY scheme would cover medical and hospitalisation expenses for almost all secondary care and most of the tertiary care procedures.

The DC informed that all eligible beneficiaries should mandatorily produce a family ID proof and individual ID proof. For those who do not have the proof documents, the DC has directed them to obtain the same from ward or village council chairmen. He added that each beneficiary should obtain the e-card.
