Dimapur, April 24 (EMN): In a minor reshuffle, Nagaland Chief Minister on Saturday relieved Deputy CM Yanthungo Patton of Roads and Bridges department and reassigned the same to legislator Chuba Chang.
Subsequently, Chang who won 51-Noksen assembly bye-election on NDPP ticket last year, has been relieved of Advisor, Law & Justice and SCERT, the two departments he held earlier.
Meanwhile, Patton has been allotted Land Resources portfolio that was earlier held by P Paiwang Konyak, minister of Transport, Railways & Civil Aviation.
Advisor of School Education KT Sukhalu also has been assigned with State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) portfolio.
The reshuffle came ahead of the assembly election which is due to be held in the first quarter of next year.
