Dimapur, May 21 (EMN): The governor of Nagaland PB Acharya has invited the Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) newly elected team to Raj Bhawan for an interaction on May 19.
During an interaction, the association is said to have apprised the governor about its activities like organising medical camps during epidemic and emergency medical help, keeping vigil on influx of substandard drugs, infiltration of spurious drugs and illegal trade practices etc. apart from helping needy organisations for medical purposes.
Governor appreciated the activities of the association and extended his best wishes. He also suggested that association to take up Government of India inspired project of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ and contribute its efforts to promote the project. The association has assured of contributing towards the program.
