DIMAPUR — Nagaland Medical Students’ Association (NMSA) on Tuesday said it has yet to receive a response from the government to its representation submitted on September 1 regarding the Health department’s Aug. 18 notification regularising 280 contractual COVID appointees.
In a press release on Tuesday, the association said it had submitted a representation reiterating its demands for immediate revocation of the notification. It also urged the government to requisition all sanctioned posts to the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) or the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB), and to conduct open recruitment examinations comprising written and viva voce in line with service rules.
