IMD forecasts dense fog in isolated pockets of Nagaland during night and morning hours till Jan

KOHIMA — Nagaland is likely to experience dense fog during night or morning hours in isolated pockets till January 6, according to an update issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday.
Dense fog conditions occur when visibility is between 50 metres and 200 metres.
The IMD informed that dense fog is likely over Nagaland along with the Jammu division, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal during the period.
