Nagaland Legislative Assembly declares 28-Koridang seat vacant

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Legislative Assembly has announced that the seat of 28-Koridang Assembly Constituency has fallen vacant following the demise of its MLA, Imkong L Imchen, on November 11, 2025.

Imchen, a member of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, was serving as Advisor for Information & Public Relations and Soil & Water Conservation.

The Assembly Secretariat stated that the vacancy came into effect from November 12.
