Nagaland Governor, Chief Minister, and Advisor extend greetings to Home Guards and Civil Defence personnel on their Raising Day.

DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, and Advisor for Home Guard, Civil Defence, Relief and Rehabilitation S Kiusumew Yimchunger have extended greetings to all the personnel of the Home Guards, Civil Defence, and State Disaster Response Force Organisation on the occasion of its Raising Day on December 6.
In his greeting, the governor expressed that he deeply honours the unwavering commitment and selfless dedication that define their service.
“Over the years, you have consistently proven your mettle, whether by responding swiftly to natural calamities, participating in vital search and rescue operations or educating our communities on disaster preparedness,” Bhalla said.

The chief minister stated that the day stands as a tribute to the commitment, discipline and unwavering dedication in safeguarding our communities during hostilities, disasters and local emergencies.
“Time and again, you have upheld the highest tradition of voluntary service and also have demonstrated resilience, professionalism and a deep sense of responsibility that inspires confidence and admiration among our citizens,” Rio stated in his greeting message.
Advisor Kiusumew saluted the bravery, selflessness and resilience of the Home Guards (HG), Civil Defence (CD) and SDRF personnel.
“The unwavering commitment of service before the state and the nation, in safeguarding the communities during the toughest moments with the spirit of ‘Vayam Panchaad Parampara’, will be honoured with the spirit of duty, unity and preparedness. Together we stand, we protect, and we thrive,” the advisor stated.
