The Nagaland government has issued emergency helpline numbers for citizens stranded in Nepal amid the political crisis, advising residents to stay indoors and follow safety instructions.

DIMAPUR — Nagaland government has issued helpline numbers for citizens stranded in Nepal, in the wake of the ongoing political crisis in the neighbouring country.
In an advisory issued on Thursday, the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) informed that individuals requiring emergency or other support may contact the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) through the helpline numbers 0370-2291122, 2291120 and 2291123, or by email at seoc.nsdma@gmail.com / sdma.nagaland@gmail.com.
In addition, the Embassy of India in Kathmandu has also set up emergency contact numbers—977-9808602881 and 977-981032613—for assistance to Indian nationals.

The advisory further urged Nagaland residents currently in Nepal to remain indoors at their places of residence, avoid venturing into the streets, and exercise maximum caution.
They were also advised to adhere strictly to safety instructions issued by local authorities in Nepal as well as the Embassy of India.
