Dimapur, May 7 (EMN): While urging the Government of Nagaland to lift the National Cooperative Development Council (NCDC) schemes which has been excluded, the All Nagaland Co-operative Societies Federation (ANCSF) pointed out that the ‘state is losing its share of INR 10 crore every year, though the stated has been categorized as the least developed state in the country.’
The federation has urged the state government to start implementing the scheme without further delay.
Also while appreciating the department of Co-operative for taking up the Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP) project in Kohima, Peren, Kiphire, Longleng, and Tuensang, the federation has urged the government particularly the department of Co-operative to expedite for early implementation of ICDP project in the state.
A press release issued by the federation president and general secretary on Monday, stated that during its 3rd general meeting on May 5 held at the State Red Cross Building in Kohima, the members deliberated on various issues and unanimously made some resolutions for the welfare of primary co-operative societies.
During the meeting, the members agreed in principle to affiliate its registration with the department of Co-operation w.e.f. May 5. For the stated reason, the house urged the department to expedite early registration of the federation.
The house resolved to reorganize district unit. In this regard the ANCSF in-charge of the five districts was requested to carry out their assignment on time and give the report during the next meeting.
All the beneficiaries of the primary co-operative societies under NCDC / ICDP were also asked to expedite for early recovery of their loans to improve recovery drive without further delay.
