
During a brief interaction with the district public relations officer (DPRO) of Dimapur before his departure to Delhi on Sunday, Dr. Murugan admitted that before landing at Dimapur, he projected Nagaland to be an under-developed state. However, Dr. Murugan stated that his notion about Nagaland changed after visiting several parts of Nagaland.

The union minister also observed that piggery and fishery sectors have very high scope in Nagaland and asked the concerned departments to make proposals focusing for the uplift of entrepreneurs.
