The two bodies appealed to the law enforcement agencies and administration to strictly follow all protocols and norms while issuing the Inner Line Permit (ILP) and also appealed to the general public and village councils to observe stringent compliance when acting as a guarantor or issuing no objection certificates (NOCs) for non-Nagas.
The forum maintained that it supports and backs the DNSU for taking up the very sensitive and important issues for the betterment and preservation of the young indigenous generations in the days to come and for all Nagas in general.
The forum also encouraged the DNSU to stand firm in upholding the truth and not to fall prey to any inducements.
The two bodies also appealed to all the civil society organisation, NGOs, churches, leaders, politicians, bureaucrats, national workers, and right-thinking citizens to support the DNSU in the strong cause they are vehemently fighting for, as it is for the Nagas' future survival.
NIPF also condemned the incident that happened at Murgi Pati in Dimapur, wherein one person was allegedly assaulted by a non-Naga.
