Dimapur, April 11 (EMN): Team Nagaland created history by entering the finals of the 6th All India M.P Verma Invitation Unity Cup Cricket Cup 2017 which is under way at Patna by defeating Manipur in the semi-final by 93 runs.
Earlier Team Nagaland won the toss and electing to bat first scored 220 runs in 40 overs. Manipur were then bowled out for just 127 runs in 31 overs. Team Manipur could not withstand the spin bowling of Nagaland spinner Imliwati (3 for 17) and Tahmeed (3 for 20) and lost wickets at regular intervals and was tottering at 56 for 6 at one stage.
