Naga guitarist and performer Imnainla Jamir is set to take her music beyond India with the BLOOM – Southeast Asia Tour 2026

KOHIMA — Naga guitarist and performer Imnainla Jamir is set to take her music beyond India with the BLOOM – Southeast Asia Tour 2026, bringing her distinctive sound to audiences across Thailand, Japan, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
An update issued on Thursday informed that the tour, supported by Mia by Tanishq, brings together music, contemporary performance and fine jewellery in a cross-cultural celebration of Naga talent on the international stage.
The tour would begin in Bangkok, Thailand on Aug. 14 and the 16th, before moving to Japan for a five-city leg.
Jamir will perform in Shinjuku on Aug. 23, Asagaya on Aug. 24, Kyoto on Aug. 27, Osaka on Aug. 28 and Nara on Aug. 29.
The tour will then travel to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for performances on Sept. 3 and the 6th, with Hong Kong listed as an upcoming destination.
Jamir, one of the most prominent female guitarists from Nagaland, has represented the region on several international platforms.
Her growing association with leading global music brands has further positioned her as an artiste connecting Northeast India with the wider international music community, the update further informed.
The BLOOM tour also highlights the growing potential of collaborations between music, fashion and lifestyle brands.
Mia by Tanishq, the precious fine jewellery brand, is the principal supporter of the tour, with Jamir featuring the brand’s jewellery as part of the tour’s visual identity.
The tour is additionally supported by Ibanez, D’Addario, Madverse, MasterPeace, Clarion Sound Profound, MDC and N.E.R.D Management.
