Nagaland Health minister's staff, bodyguards test Covid-19 positive

Kohima, Aug. 6 (EMN): The official residence of Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom in Kohima was sealed after several staff members attached to him tested positive for Covid-19.

An unspecified number of supporting staff members, two bodyguards, and four house guards detailed to the minister for Health and Family Welfare were found positive for Covid-19, the press secretary to the minister informed on Thursday.

Some of the supporting staffs, 2 bodyguards & 4 house guards have been detected +ve of COVID-19.
Have taken necessary precautionary measures and my official residence has been sealed as per the SOPs.

I will be under self isolation, however will continue to work from home.

All precautionary measures have been taken in accordance with standard operating procedures, and his official residence has been sealed, it informed.

The minister is in self-isolation but will continue to work from home and monitor all Covid-19 related work, it added.
