Nagaland Health minister’s residence sealed after several staff test Covid-19 positive

Kohima, Aug. 6 (EMN):
The official residence of Nagaland Health minister S Pangnyu Phom in Kohima was sealed after several staff attached to him were tested positive for Covid-19.

Some support staff, two bodyguards and four house guards attached to Phom have been detected with Covid-19, according to the minister’s press secretary on Thursday.

All precautionary measures have been taken as per the SOPs and his official residence sealed, it was informed.

The minister is in self-isolation but will continue to work from home and monitor all activities related to Covid-19, it added.

Phom also took to Twitter to inform the same.

Legislator tests positive

An NLA legislator and a support staff of another legislator tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and advisor R Khing took to Twitter to inform that their test results returned negative on the same day.
