DIMAPUR — Following an interim directive issued by Gauhati High Court of Kohima bench on September 3, the department of Health and Family Welfare has put on hold the ongoing regularisation of posts created during the Covid-19 pandemic.
A DIPR update on Thursday stated that the court had stayed the state Cabinet’s decision of August 6, 2024, and the subsequent notification of August 18, 2025.
The court directed that no further steps for regularisation be undertaken by the state respondents based on the said Cabinet decision and notification.
Accordingly, the department informed that the process of regularisation of various categories of posts through the Department Screening Committee has been kept in abeyance until further orders.
