The government of Nagaland has constituted the Nagaland State Child Line Advisory Board. The functions of the Nagaland Child Line Advisory Board are to:
•Monitor the quality of service provided by Child Line by reviewing calls received and response strategies
• Ensure that there is coordination between government department and nongovernmental organizations in responding to the children in need of care and protection
•Take measures to ensure that there are adequate services for children in need of care and protection
•Suggest measures to address problems and issues faced by Childline.
The board consists of the secretary for Social Welfare department as the chairperson, and the chairperson of the NSCPCR, Commissioner & Secretary for Health & Family Welfare Commissioner & Secretary for School Education, Commissioner & Secretary for Labor & Employment, Secretary for IPR, Secretary for Municipal Affairs, Secretary for Justice and Law, Special Secretary for Home, DIG of Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Society Director for SCPS, Nodal Director of Childline as members and Childline of Kohima as member secretary.
