Nagaland has 304497 ration card holders

Dimapur, Feb. 25 (EMN): Nagaland state has a total of 3,04,497 ration card holders with a total of 10,57,995 beneficiaries and a total of 1,665 active Fair Price Shops (FPS) as on January 31, 2022.

According to the Nagaland Chief Minister dashboard update, Dimapur district has the highest number of ration card holders with 77,691 and a total beneficiary of 2,89,535 followed by Zunheboto with 19,556 ration card holders and a total beneficiaries of 65,922, while Tuensang with 28,853 card holders and a total of 1,04,649 beneficiaries, and Wokha with 18,835 card holders and a total of 60,952 beneficiaries.

Kohima has 33,877 ration card holders with a total of 1,17,578 beneficiaries, Mon with 35,043 ration card holders and a total of 1,39,181 beneficiaries, Mokokchung with 30,646 ration card holders and a total of 95,591 beneficiaries and Phek with 23,681 ration card holders and a total of 70,700 beneficiaries.

While the least number of ration card holders in the state was Longleng district with 9,981 and a total of 28,848 beneficiaries followed by Kiphire with 12,841 ration card holders and a total of 39,604 beneficiaries and Peren with 13,493 ration card holders and a total of 45,435 beneficiaries.

Nagaland has a total 1,665 active Fair Price Shops (FPS), out of which Dimapur has the highest number of FPS with 313, followed by Zunheboto with 216, Tuensang with 157, Wokha with 155, Kohima with 149, Mon with 145, Mokokchung with 135, Phek with 134, Kiphire with 101, Peren with 100 and Longleng with 60.
