Dimapur, Oct. 7 (EMN): A seven-day handicraft exhibition organised by the Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (NHHDC Ltd.) and sponsored by the development commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles, got underway at Urban Haat in Dimapur on October 7.
An update informed that general manager, NHHDC Ltd., K Yehoshe Aomi, inaugurated the exhibition.
A total of 50 participants from Assam, Manipur and from the various districts of the Nagaland are exhibiting varieties of hand crafted products in their respective stalls.
“The main aim and objective of the exhibition is to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bring about linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner. It is also serves to provide marketing opportunities to handicraft artisans,” it stated.
