DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav hoisted the Tricolour at Lok Bhavan, Kohima, on Friday on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.
The ceremonial flag-hoisting was attended by officers, staff and security personnel of the Governor’s Secretariat, according to an update from Lok Bhavan Kohima.
The National Flag was unfurled with due solemnity, marking the celebration of India’s 80th year of Independence and honouring the sacrifices and contributions of the freedom fighters who laid the foundation for a free and sovereign nation.
